All Things Rutulante

So true, I am indeed of stock and breed of the Rutulante house from Italy.  According to my father my grandparents came from Abruzzo, province of L’Aquila sometime in the late 1800’s and early 1900s to New York.   My father and his sisters and my grandmother changed our name to Rutland in 1948 because that’s what you did back when family culture wasn’t worshiped and idolized as it is today.  Nevertheless, I’m proud of my Italian heritage and regularly ensure that my own children know of it.
